Young People Spotlight: Benjamin Jancewicz

Inspired by beauty and creating high quality work, Benjamin started his own Graphics and Art Design company, Zerflin, during his college years. He vowed to create a company that would not only be a haven for other freelancing designers, but also one that is dedicated to provide the best quality work for the client, regardless of the price.
Benjamin is never hesitant to step out of his comfort zone to help others. To me, that is perhaps the most admirable quality about him.
Here are two of my favorite pieces. See more of his artwork.

“I sat there on a stump a long while, looking at how even tiny things, each specially crafted, could be beautiful.” — Benjamin Jancewicz

Ray thanks for all the encouraging comments. Blogging is not something I have enjoyed doing! For some reason I have found it difficult to think of interesting topics to talk about….hmmm….maybe my life is uneventful?! haha i have really enjoyed reading your blog though, I appreciate how you bring awareness to an array of different things.
Unfortunately I checked out the site to win the camera but failed to submit anything in time! ahh thank you so much for the link though, I wish i could have made it.
happy blogging!

Hi Katie,
Thanks for your comment! I’m glad you enjoy my blog.
I am surprise to learn that you don’t enjoy blogging, because you sure don’t come across that way in your.
People blog for various reason. Some even find that blogging unlocks doors and presents opportunities. Perhaps it’s helpful to answer couple of key questions:
“Why am I doing this?”
“Who am I writing to?
“What topic am I addressing?”
" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker('/outbound/lorelle.wordpress.com/2007/11/28/how-do-you-become-a-passionate-blogger-blog-your-passion/_br_/');">Lorelle’s got some good tips. Her blog is about..guess what..blogging!
In my case, I starting blogging mainly to connect with my mom and sister. I wanted to share with them my thought life and my activities. Also, my mom thinks that I don’t eat (trying to save $), so I put up pictures of my food. Then the audience grew to some friends and family in Malaysia. As with the internet, my local US friends caught wind, and started leaving comments. Also, this is also learning platform for me. I’m learning how to use of text and picture to communicate better. See here and here.
Humbly 2-cents,
Ray

A fan club for me?
I’ll be truly honored if you’re my #1 fan, mom. Want to learn about another son who is so very proud of his mother?

Wow Ben!! Not only are you getting praise for your work (which by the way, that pict. with the leaves glidding on the water is beautiful. ) but also for your personality. I’m proud of you!! Keep it up. And as or you, Ray Chung, praise the Lord for you. It’s nice and encouraging to see someone who not only regconises someone else’s talent but also appreciates his quality and does so openly. May God bless you both in your business’.

@Ness - Thank you for your feedback. This is exactly the intent of this section on this blog. I wish to bring about some recognition these ordinary young men and women who have chosen a different path. They want to make a difference and refuse to just stand on the sideline and watch (or simply make money). They will not settle and accept the status-quo in life. Maybe you’ll be on here sometime…:)
