Gen-Y Leader Spotlight: Rebecca Thorman

If you have been tuning on to blogs on the subject of Generation Y for any length of time, you’re likely to have come across this fast becoming household name — “Modite” which means modern, urbanite or yuppie with a social conscience.. If you google “Gen Y princess”, the results points you to one person. Yes, it’s none other than the princess herself — Rebecca Thorman.

At 24 years old, Rebecca is the Executive Director of a young professional organization whose mission is to attract and retain young talent and leadership in order to contribute to the regions’ economic, civic, social, and public policy futures.
She aspires with her generation to be an entrepreneur and in her spare time she works obsessively on this website. Rebecca is from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
